The first wire
I founded PPM United, an electrical contracting and consulting firm, working on projects for Tata Power and Reliance Power, and later Adani. The goal was clear from day one: build an esteemed organisation.

I'm Prathamesh Madye. A decade of building companies, trading the markets and working hands-on in trade finance has led me to one mission: building the data and credit infrastructure backbone of India.

About me
I started in 2016 with electrical contracting for India's power majors. Since then I have built event, tourism and apparel ventures, launched a national edible-oil brand, and traded the markets every day since 2018. Since 2021 I have also worked hands-on in trade finance.
Every chapter, the big wins and the hard lessons, gave me a skill I now put into GIX.
The story
Each gold feather marks a moment that made me stronger. Together they shape the way I build today.
I founded PPM United, an electrical contracting and consulting firm, working on projects for Tata Power and Reliance Power, and later Adani. The goal was clear from day one: build an esteemed organisation.

After a long stretch of study, I started trading in 2018. The first two years were my real education. I kept studying, journaling and refining my edge until the results followed.
Feather 1 · PatienceThose two years built the skill that later carried every company I ran.
I built PPM Event Pvt Ltd and ran the PEPL tournaments with partners like BookMyShow. PPM Explore, our tourism company, bloomed, and PPM Apparels grew alongside. Everything was booming.

In 2020 the world stopped, and events and travel stopped with it, including PPM Explore. My trading carried every company expense through that year. Building from scratch, we refocused on winning contracts one by one.
Feather 2 · Self-relianceThe skill I had patiently built kept every team member paid.
We took the contracting business into multiple states across India, and I started working hands-on in trade finance: credit, letters of credit and working capital. The same year, an idea took hold of me: a Global Infrastructure Exchange.

A major challenge at one of our project sites tested the business and my family. We absorbed it, learned from it and kept building.
Feather 3 · ResilienceEvery challenge is a feather, once you rise with it.
Using everything I had learned, I built Agriall and took it to a national launch with Patanjali. Within six months it was a tremendous success.
A demanding period for me and my family led us to pause every business, and the team moved on to new paths. I came back with every skill I had built, all the knowledge I had gathered, and one burning idea from 2021 that I had never stopped believing in.
Feather 4 · FaithThe idea I never doubted became the one I chose to build.
The idea from 2021 is now my whole focus. GIX is standardising India's infrastructure data and building its credit backbone, and taking it global.

What I'm building now
India is building roads, power, ports and cities at record pace, yet the data behind them is scattered and the credit that funds them moves slowly. GIX standardises infrastructure data and builds the credit rails on top of it, so every contractor, supplier and lender works from one trusted source.

One trusted record for every infrastructure project in India.
Turning letters of credit into same-week cash.
RCU and FCU checks, automated into one full credit decision.
Trade Receivables Discounting System, authorised by the Reserve Bank of India.
Payment Aggregator – Cross Border, regulated by the Reserve Bank of India.
Every growing economy needs trusted infrastructure data and faster credit.
"I have seen first-hand what trusted data and timely credit can do for a business. GIX exists to give both to everyone building India."Prathamesh Madye · Founder, GIX

Every company I built left me a lesson. Here are the four that shaped GIX.
