Building regulated infrastructure
Licences such as TReDS and PA-CB, bank partnerships and national data standards take years. Patience lets me build for the long game instead of the quick win.

Every founder collects lessons. I chose to wear mine. These are the four moments that shaped me, and how each one now powers what I am building next.
In 2016 I started my first company with one ambition: to build an esteemed organisation. Ten years later, I have built and run electrical contracting, events, tourism, apparel and a nationally launched brand, and I have traded the markets every day since 2018.
Not every chapter went to plan. Some of the most important ones did not. But each of them left me something more valuable than revenue: a lesson I could carry into the next thing I built. I think of those lessons as feathers in my hat. There are four of them so far.

After a long stretch of study, I placed my first serious trades in 2018. The next two years were my real education. I studied price, kept a journal of every decision and refined my edge, long before the results showed up on the screen.
The markets teach a simple rule that most people learn the expensive way: you cannot rush skill. You can only show up, review honestly and improve a little each day.
By 2020, everything was booming. PPM Event and the PEPL tournaments were running, PPM Explore was taking travellers across India, and PPM Apparels was growing alongside our contracting work.
Then the world stopped. Events and travel stopped with it. In that year, the trading skill I had patiently built carried every company expense. With no family business behind us, we went back to basics and won contracts one by one.
In 2021 we expanded our contracting work into several states, and I started working hands-on in trade finance: credit, letters of credit and working capital. In 2022, a major challenge at one of our project sites tested the business and my family.
We absorbed it, learned from it and kept building. In 2023 I took everything I had learned and built Agriall, launched nationally with Patanjali. Within six months it was a tremendous success.

2024 and 2025 were a demanding period for me and my family. We paused every business, and the team moved on to new paths.
I came back with every skill I had built, all the knowledge I had gathered, and one burning idea I had been carrying since 2021: a Global Infrastructure Exchange. I never doubted the idea. I chose to build it.

Looking forward
The feathers are not trophies. They are tools. Each one now shapes a specific part of how I am building GIX, the exchange that will standardise India's infrastructure data and build its credit backbone.
Licences such as TReDS and PA-CB, bank partnerships and national data standards take years. Patience lets me build for the long game instead of the quick win.
A trader's risk management sits behind every decision at GIX. We build lean, protect the downside, and make every rupee work.
I know what happens to a contractor when a site goes wrong and credit dries up. Our credit engine and LC marketplace are designed for exactly those moments.
The conviction that carried one idea through every season is the same conviction that will take an Indian infrastructure exchange to the world.
I don't hide the feathers. They are the reason I build the way I do.
If you are a founder in the middle of your own hard chapter, here is what I would tell you: write it down, learn what it is trying to teach you, and keep building. One day it will be the feather you are proudest of.
And if you want to help build the credit infrastructure backbone of India, as an investor, a lender, a partner or someone who can take this vision beyond India, I would love to hear from you.
